Returns
All sales are final.  Returns and/or exchanges are not accepted unless an item is received defective. 

Exchanges of Defective Items
Items will be replaced if they are defective upon receipt/delivery.  If you need to exchange a defective item, please contact us within 7 days of receipt of the defective item.  LAFVD reserves the right to determine whether or not an item is defective and whether or not a refund or exchange will be issued. For mailed orders, the 7 day time period to report defective items begins on the date USPS marks your package as delivered.  For local pickup orders, the 7 day time period to report defective items begins on the date your order is placed in the pickup bin.  You will be required to provide proof of defectiveness.  This may include, but is not limited to, a description of the defectiveness and photos of the product. Exchanges will not be accepted outside of the 7 day window outlined above.  Wholesale customers should inspect items fully prior to releasing items to customers. If any defects are identified, you must contact us within the window outlined above.

Items Damaged by USPS During Transit

LAFVD is not responsible for any damage to products while in transit by USPS. Please purchase route protection described below to cover this type of damage  

Route Package Protection

Once packages are in the hands of USPS, it is unfortunately out of our control as to what happens with the package. Route Package Protection is available at check out. It is $0.98 if your cart is less than $100 or an order percentage for orders over $100. Route Package Protection is offered as an add on at your cost. It covers all lost, stolen or damaged packages. By removing ROUTE from your cart, you are acknowledging full responsibility if your order is lost, stolen or damaged. Should you choose to remove Route Package Protection from your order, we will not reprint or refund your order if it is lost, damaged or stolen while in transit. All claims for lost, damaged or stolen packages are to be submitted directly to Route. LAFVD does not handle claims and does not control the speed or manner in which Route resolves claims. The cost of Route Package Protection is non-refundable once purchased.

Shipping Costs
Of note, original shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund for an item, the shipping cost will be deducted from the total amount paid.
